Now this is an interesting story. The artist agreed to a commission (which she resolutely refuses to do now though she loves her clients). To release some creative pressure, Halima painted three paintings of the same size concurrently thereby giving her dear clients a choice. This piece was not their choice, though it hung in a friend's house as emergency decor for a family Christmas. Once home again, this piece cried out for a little more love, vertical orientation, and reparation from the Commission Experience.
