Halima is fairly certain that this began as a workshop piece with a teacher of abstract art, the piece looking something like three surfboards as Halima attempted an abstract composition from her notes. Many layers of bumpy acrylic later, the artist gleefully plastered oil paint over top in her first attempt to work with oil. Two years of curing later, titled and catalogued and thought complete, it was then submitted to the 2024 lab of transformation.
