Halima is an abstract artist living on Vancouver Island. Her intuitive painting style is informed by her sensations of daily life and her interpretation of these experiences. In a layer-by-layer method, Halima paints with deep attention to abstract composition and colour. Halima loves her family, morning coffee and a good dose of sarcasm.

UnWrapped

​UnWrapped is an expression of discovery. Just as one might unwrap a long-awaited gift, so the
artist joyously unwrapped a love of painting and her answer to a lifelong ache. This exhibit is the
representation of Halima’s discovery of being an artist.
